Razi HR ("the App", "we", "us") is a free, open-source HR management tool published by Razi Consultancy. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the App.

1. Data storage — it stays on your device

The App runs entirely in your web browser. Every piece of information you enter — company details, departments, employee records, attendance, leave requests, and payroll — is saved only in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not operate a server or database that receives, stores, or processes your HR data, including any employee personal information you enter.

2. No accounts, no tracking of your HR data

There is no sign-up, login, or account creation. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share the employee or company data you enter into the App.

3. Employee personal data

If you use the App to store employee names, contact details, salary, or attendance/leave records, you (the employer or HR administrator) are the data controller for that information under applicable data protection law. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from employees and for complying with local labor and data protection regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Hosting and standard web logs

The App is hosted as a static site (for example on Netlify). Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and page requests for security and performance purposes, as described in the hosting provider's own privacy policy. This is separate from, and does not include, any data you enter inside the App.

5. Third-party libraries

The App loads a small number of public front-end libraries (such as a CSS framework and a charting library) from third-party content delivery networks so the interface renders correctly. Loading these files may expose your IP address and browser information to those CDN providers, in line with normal web browsing.

6. Your responsibility for backups

Because your data lives only in your browser, clearing your browser's site data, switching browsers or devices, or using private/incognito mode will remove or hide your saved records. Use the built-in CSV export and print/PDF features regularly to keep your own backups.

7. Children's privacy

The App is a business tool intended for HR administrators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App itself.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
